Goliath

A visionary, lyrical, heartbreaking tale of one young man's Iraq War story, from home to the front and back again.

Echoing the Greeks, Def Poetry and Ntozake Shange, playwright Takeo Rivera weaves a stunning ensemble exploration of war and masculinity that reaches for the mind, heart and soul. With the soldiers home from Iraq but wars still waging abroad, Goliath provides a way to look deeper into what we do during times of war, what behavior becomes excusable and what it means to love when violence is part of the norm.
